WHAT IS "IGNITE SPARKS"? A CONTINUATION OF THE IGNITE LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
The Community Development Foundation believes that at our community’s core, the ultimate catalyst for growth is the ability to identify, engage and ignite the right people. Ignite is a one-day leadership conference featuring world-class speakers, incredible peer-to-peer interaction and an energizing atmosphere.
Ignite Sparks takes what occurs on the stage at the Ignite Leadership Conference and continues it throughout the year by integrating into various CDF Chamber events the conference’s message and mission.
When you see “PART OF IGNITE SPARKS” graphic on an event promotion, you can be assured that you are encountering an event aimed at continuing the leadership principles and cultivation that began at the Ignite Leadership Conference.
WHAT EVENTS WILL BE DESIGNATED "PART OF IGNITE SPARKS"?INFUSING THE IGNITE LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE INTO CDF EVENTS
Occasionally, throughout the year, the Community Development Foundation will put on events that will incorprate leadership training and principles that will be designated "Part of IGNITE Sparks". Some of those possible events are:
- Business Boxed Lunch & Learn: This lunch time meting (11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) is held at the CDF Center located at 398 East Main St., Tupelo, Mississippi. Registration is required and lunch is provided.
- WakeUp! Tupelo/Lee County: Starting at 7:00 a.m., on a specific Friday of the month, this networking time always features a light breakfast and a guest speaker. Taking place at the Elvis Presley Birthplace in Tupelo, Mississippi, this event requires registration and is over at 8:30 a.m.
- Various CDF Events: The Community Development Foundation holds over 50 events a year. Throughout the year, other events may be designated "Part of IGNITE Sparks".
